Doyle Farm Nursery is now closed for the season. Thank you for your
business this year. DFN will be going through changes so keep in touch

Thank you, Jacquelin Doyle, owner, laborer, propagator and grower.
Doyle Farm Nursery Specializes in Native Perennials, Native Grasses and Native FernsDoyle Farm Nursery is a small nursery located in the rolling farmlands of Pennsylvania in Southern York County. We are near the Susquehanna River with its rich diversity of regional flora. And, we live and garden among our plantings of natives, perennials, grasses, and herb plants. All of our native plants and native grasses are grown outside and not in heated greenhouses. We feel this makes a hardy native plant, adaptable to any situation. Our native plants are over-wintered under a heavy nursery blanket and are shipped in early spring. Those native plants available in the fall are usually potted in the spring or early summer. We do not ship in the heat of the summer nor in the cold of winter. We ship to you only fully rooted native plants that are ready to be placed in the garden upon arrival. Our nursery-grown native plants are sold in 4 1/8" x 5" quart pots and 6.5 x 7" trade & 7 x 8" regular gallon sizes for large perennial native plants and native grasses. This year we are growing some of the more difficult native plants in smaller pots of 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". Please note the pot sizes on our price list. We strongly suggest local pick-up for native plants in larger pots. Doyle Farm Nursery Guarantees... our Native, Herbaceous PlantsWe guarantee a healthy, well-rooted native plant. Our specialty is growing hardy, herbaceous, native plants and native grasses. Our native plants and native grasses are chosen for their hardiness to the Mid-Atlantic region. All of our native plants and native grasses are nursery propagated from seeds, cuttings, or divisions. If a native plant or a native grass is not available (sold out or lost in translation) or the native plant is not fully rooted during the shipping season, we can issue a refund for that native plant, offer a credit or substitute for the native plant, or wait until the native plant is ready to ship at a later date. You can select the option you prefer. How to Order from our Catalog and pick up your native perennials, grasses and fernsDoyle Farm is a Mail Order Business. Pick up of plants are possible but no walk in customers. We welcome you to order from our catalog and pick up your native plants and grasses at the nursery. However, we do ask that you call and make arrangements. Doyle Farm Nursery is not open to the general public. We regret that we can not be available for casual visits. If there are certain plants in which you are interested, please let us know at one of our Native Plant Open Houses. We also invite you to pre-order so that a certain plant will not be sold out when you arrive. Due to difficulty of propagation or slowness in growing, some of the plants listed are limited in quantity.
A healthy plant takes time, and a quality plant grows better...
